Clinical Hypnotherapy & Mind Programming
When one looks at the works of Dr Bruce Lipton and David Hawkins, the link between mind, body becomes evident. “The Biology of Belief “ by Bruce Lipton shows how our perceptions or belief systems can switch on and off our DNA.
David Hawkins uses his consciousness scale, reading the body to measure consciousness. He develops this scale using an arm muscle testing technique used in Applied Kinesiology to test the truth of statements into a scale of 0 to 1000 with different states of consciousness and created a one dimensional map of consciousness e.g shame-20, fear-100, love-500, enlightenment-700-1000.
This approach enabled the exploration of consciousness and creating the scale for different levels, behaviours and emotions at each level of consciousness. This chart is using the wisdom of the body, providing information at a sub-conscious level. The research was over a 20 year period involving millions of calibrations of 1000’s of all ages, all personality types and from all walks of life. (Ref: “Power vs Force, The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior” David R Hawkins, M.D., PhD, Hay House, CA, 1995)
In my opinion, the multi-dimensional nature of consciousness makes consciousness difficult to chart as it is not linear in nature as demonstrated in this chart, however this work provides a model to begin to discuss the potential pathways and markers along the path towards higher consciousness and enlightenment.
